About the Role:
A varied and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior / HR Business Partner who has been involved in a varied HR role and preferably involved in Payroll design.
This role is pivotal in driving the HR business partnering model to ensure that HR provides proactive, strategic and operational support across the business. You will be involved in delivering the implementation and alignment of initiatives and policies across the business to enhance organisational effectiveness.
You will be required to:
Proactively manage the day to day HR advice requests
Support and lead team to proactively manage ER casework; disciplinary, grievances, performance management, etc
Advise colleagues on best practice and HR procedure
Actively work alongside the HR Manager to lead HR projects
Revise, develop and implement HR policies and processes on an ongoing basis.
Coaching and developing the team
Manage the Payroll function on site

Previous HR experience at a business partnering level gained within a commercial environment
Experience within manufacturing desirable
Current knowledge of Employment Law and best practice
Experience in Payroll
Experience of delivering successful HR & OD projects
Experience of supporting major organisation change
Supervisory experience together with established coaching skills
Computer literate - good working experience of MS Office and HR databases
