We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for our head office based in Birmingham.
UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 7,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
Based from our Head Office at Colmore Row in Birmingham, the role requires a qualified Accountant with experience from industry or a professional practise. We are looking for someone who can provide reliable support to our Central Financial Controller and the wider function.
As Financial Accountant, you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment alongside a knowledgeable team so there’s never a dull day at work. You will implement new and help improve existing processes & policies, planning & managing the year end accounts, full P&L and tax activities.
We will commit to support, train and encourage you to develop your full potential in this rare opportunity becoming a important addition to the 2 Sisters Food Group.
This is a great opportunity to utilise and strengthen your existing skills as you take on the responsibilities of full Balance Sheet control and reconciliation, monthly and quarterly reporting as well as ownership of all Central Overheads for the division.

Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with the preparation and reporting of monthly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Collate the monthly site financial reports for the division
  • Manage blocked and parked invoices for the division

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified OR Qualified by experience
  • Exceptional numerical, analytical and Excel skills
  • Commercially aware
  • Disciplined and organised with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communicator with rapport building skills
  • Internal audit experience preferred but not essential
