Due to growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Category Manager to join our Category team. This is a role where you will add real value, and offers opportunities to develop yours skills and career in developing the category function across the business. This role is key to the delivery of the new business vision and strategy and therefore it is essential that you have the “passion” to support and be able to “deliver” the implementation of the Fox’s Biscuits strategy
Fox’s Biscuits was established in 1853 and is a renowned brand with tremendous heritage. Fox’s branded biscuits are manufactured and distributed to all major retailers, as well as retailer own label biscuits. Fox’s provides biscuits across a range of price points to ensure broad consumer appeal.

This is where you come in…
As the Category Manager you will develop and deliver the Category Vision, Strategy and Drivers across the business (internal and external) including leadership of key strategic projects.
You will develop the annual ‘dynamic’ action oriented plans for each retailer (aligned to the category vision) in order to deliver growth for our retailer partners and for the Fox’s brand
In association with the Marketing and Innovation team develop the future vision of snacking in the UK. You will assist in the development of the category plans for ‘new business’ plans aligned to the business and marketing strategy.
As the Category Manager you will be working with the Brand Marketing team, takes joint accountability for the 3 year innovation strategy and pipeline. Assists in the development and implementation of the Trade Marketing strategy and plan to deliver world-class in-store plans & activation.
Business partnering skills are essential for success in this role as you will partner with the Sales Controllers to develop strategic sales relationships and business (internally and externally). Along with working closely with our partner data agencies ( ie IRI ) to produce timely, accurate and action-focused data and reports for the business.
