Role Overview
Our Newport site based in Rogerstone is one of the largest and most advanced food manufacturing facilities in Europe, with over 1500 employees, turning over £140 Million per year this is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technologist to join this highly successful site.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the main aspect of your role is to assist in the maintenance & monitoring of process & food safety systems on the site. 
Communication will be one of your many skills as you are pivotal in the interaction between Operations, Technical and Hygiene, this ensures that Production is run safely, efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fully investigate customer complaints, provide feedback to operations of the trends and support in reduction plans.
  • Ensure product safety, hygiene standards, quality assurance and associated control systems are maintained within the factory.
  • Address instances of non-conformance, investigating independently and making recommendations as necessary to the Technical Manager.
  • Carrying out Audits internally and supporting external audits.
What You Will Need
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a food quality role
  • PC Literate
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • The ability to challenge others
