Role Overview

Our Newport site based in Rogerstone is one of the largest and most advanced food manufacturing facilities in Europe, with over 1500 employees, turning over £140 Million per year this is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Supervisor to join this highly successful site.

As our Quality Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring operational implementation of all statutory obligations, customer requirements, company policies with respect to food safety and due diligence on the factory floor.

You will implement effective procedures to ensure all checks are carried out as required, which will be recorded therefore easily retrievable. This role will be involved in the following areas, food safety, quality management systems, auditing, supplier management, team development, complaints, non-conforming products, specifications/labelling and laboratory testing. You will benefit from ongoing development and genuine opportunities for progression on a national scale.
What You Will Need
  • Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to delivering improvements to site
  • Auditing experience both internal and external
  • Understand current legislation
  • Microsoft office experience
  • Able to problem solve and influence in a fast paced environment
