Role: Engineer – Electrically Biased, 17th Edition (compulsory)
Location: Cambuslang, Glasgow

Shifts: 4 on 4 off Days/Nights Rotation, 12 hours per shift.

The Cambuslang site is a key part of the 2 Sisters added value division and has been since August 2013. The site was built in 1962 with further investment in 2014. It is the centre of excellence for retail cooked poultry products.
Our customers include: Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s and The Co-Operative.
About the Role:
As a 17th Edition trained, electrical engineer you will maintain and improve production machinery, systems and ancillary equipment through daily job management. In this role you will also be part of a dedicated 15 man engineering team that is there to support you and you them.
The engineering team ensure a fast and effective response to breakdown situations and they are able to achieve this through continuous on site development of knowledge, skills and familiarity with the production systems and machinery.
As a specialist engineer you will be able to identify and rectify faults both Mechanically and Electrically along with ensuring planned maintenance work is completed to strict time schedules.
Your knowledge is a vital asset to the growth and development of the Engineering team so we would like you to assist in the training of fellow Engineers, Apprentices and Operator-technicians where possible.
Due to the nature of our products good working practices need to be adhered IE Food Safety, Hygiene and Health & Safety.
