NPD Chef/ Development Chef / Executive Chef
We are looking for an expert Innovation Chef to create delicious, quality, market leading products. Being a true ‘foodie’ you will have your finger on the food pulse by identifying new food trends, benchmark restaurants, cities and countries of inspiration to create new and exciting products for our customers. Not forgetting your cooking skills you need to be confident in presenting your culinary delights at customer and internal presentations. Working as part of the Divisional NPD and Innovation team this hands on role will give you the chance to work across 8 Meal Solutions sites, therefore flexibility and being able to easily travel from Carlisle to Newport is a must. Communication will be a key strength as collaboration and engagement with Sites, Divisional and Customer teams will help you achieve success in this role. This role will interface with Site NPD and category / commercial teams. The Innovation Chef is responsible for driving a proactive pipeline of innovative, tasty and commercially viable products across a number of categories – Global (Indian, Oriental, Taste), Pizza, Health, Bakery & FTG, Traditional meals and Gastro.Innovative and creative with a real passion for food Excellent working knowledge of food combinations, cuisines and ingredients A ‘foodie’ with a commercial focus who is able to combine creativity with a complete understanding of full scale production practicalities. Strong ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
