About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join our UK Poultry site in Willand.

UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 7,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
The Willand site is our largest site by footprint and located in mid-Devon; it was first established in 1898 as an egg packing plant before expanding into the meat trade. Small scale chicken processing started in 1958 which expanded over the next 50 years with the site pioneering the production of poultry for the retail market.
As HR Manager, you’ll work with the Senior Management Team to shape and deliver the strategy in line with the Group’s agenda. This role presents the opportunity to really showcase your ability as a HR Manager, whilst you will join a highly supportive team, you will be given the autonomy needed to identify key challenges on site and implement plans to deliver the change required. You will also be able to get involved with a number of exciting HR Projects at Group level!

About you:
Can you do it? Yes you can, if you’re fanatical about food, thrive under pressure and have the can-do spirit that’s created our success. Bring those qualities, coupled with the below, and you’ll have the scope to influence at all levels:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent qualification in HR
  • Previous HR Management experience from a similar industry (Food Production/FMCG/Manufacturing)
  • The ability to work strategically as well as operationally, translating strategy into actionable programmes, operations or activities
  • Delivery of change management programmes
  • Personal credibility and gravitas at Senior Level
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to influence and persuade
  • Results orientation, Resilient, Highly motivated
